Working Together Group (WTG) for Carers is part of the East London NHS Foundation Trust’s ‘People Participation’ programme and is open to all Carers living in or caring for those in the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham or City of London & Hackney. Join the conversation about transforming mental health services in East London and be welcomed into a brand new family of carers like yourself. This space is not only to improve the mental health services available to those we care for – it is also a space designed to support Carers and their mental wellbeing as an individual; both alongside and outside of their Carer duties.
See this leaflet for more information about the group.
If you are reading this and the ‘Carers’ group does not feel as relevant to you or your contacts, our ‘People Participation’ team within the Transformation programme also offer the same opportunities across the following groups: Disordered Eating, Complex Emotional Needs, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnics, Older Adults (65+) and Young Adults (18-25).
To register your interest in People Participation in any one of these groups, please fill in our “Getting to know you” form: https://bit.ly/2UolwnZ or email elft.pptransformation@nhs.net.
Older Adults in the Community Mental Health Transformation Programme
East London Foundation Trust aims to engage with Older Adults to proactively address issues such as discrimination, neglect, and inaccessibility of mental health services across boroughs to develop services that are acceptable and effective for the diverse communities that we serve.
Please see the below details on how to get involved.
